Luxury Life Design: Olympics fashion styles

Uniforms are worn by national teams at the opening ceremony of this year's Olympic Games have created some of the world's most famous designers, including Armani, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney. Many in the fashion industry are already calling this the most stylish Olympics ever.

Uniforme koje su nacionalni timovi nosili na ceremoniji otvaranja ovogodišnjih Olimpijskih igara kreirali su neki od najpoznatijih svetskih dizajnera, među kojima Armani, Prada, Ralf Loren, Stela Makartni. Mnogi ljudi iz modne industrije nazvali su ovu olimpijadu "Olimpijada sa najviše stila ikada".

UNITED STATES

Team USA amazed the world at the opening ceremony for the London Olympics in classic Americana style by Ralph Lauren. Men was wearing navy blazers with the Olympic team patch, along with red, white and blue neckties and white pants. Women paired the blazers with a white dress or skirt and a scarf. The entire ensemble is topped with a French-friendly navy beret.

Američki tim zadivio je gledaoce širom sveta na ceremoniji otvaranja olimpijskih igara, sa klasično američkim uniformama koje je dizajnirao Ralph Lauren. Muškarci su nosili mornarske sakoe sa amblemom olimpijskog tima, u sklopu sa crvenim, belim i plavim kravatama i belim pantalonama. Ženski deo tima nosio je sakoe sa belim haljinama ili suknjam i šalom. Celokupna kombinacija je krunisana francuskom mornasrkom beretkom.

ITALY

Armani and Prada designed Italy's uniform and the uniform embodies his aesthetic -- a perfectly tailored suit. But it would have been nice to see the women in something a little more feminine.

Armani i Prada dizajnirali su savršene uniforme za Italijanski tim. Jedina zamerka je što su ženske uniforme mogle biti malo ženstvenije.

SERBIA

Fashion company “Zekstra” created Uniforms for Serbian Olympic team for the opening ceremony. Men in red sweaters and girls in white-blue jackets were the perfect combination of colors and style. Red, blue and white combination represented national colors at the best possible way.

Modna kuća Zekstra kreirala je uniforme za srpski olimpijski tim, za ceremnoniju otvaranja. Muškarci u crvenim džemperima i devojke u belo-plavim sakoima predstaljaju idealnu kombnaciju boja i stila. Crvena, plava i bela bojea u kombinaciji su na najbolji mogući način predstavile nacionalne boje Srbije.

GREAT BRITAIN

Stella McCartney designed the British athletic uniforms for Adidas.

Stella McCartny dizajnirala je za Adidas, uniforme za Britanski olimpijski tim.

AUSTRALIA

Australian team suits were designed by Sportscraft with shoes by Volley. The Australian athletic uniforms were designed by Adidas;

Australijski tim nosio je odela koje je kreirala modna kuća Sportkraft, uz obuću kuće Volej. Atletske uniforme kreirao je Adidas.

JAMAICA

The colorful yet slightly military Jamaican uniforms were designed by Cedella Marley, daughter of the late Bob Marley, in cooperation with Puma.

Šarene, ali ipak pomalo nalik vojničkim. Uniforme je za tim jamajke je dizajnirala Cedela Marli, ćerka Boba Marlija, u saradnji sa Pumom.

GERMANY

Germany’s uniforms by Adidas sort the sexes by putting women in pink and men in blue puffer jackets, and neither color is from the German flag.

Uniforme Nemačkog olimpijskog tima kreirao je Adidas i očigledno se čvrsto držao podela boja po polovima stavljajući žene u pink a muškarce i plave napumpane jakne, i bez i jedne boje sa Nemacke zastave.

FRANCE

NY Times: “The French never disappoint. The men’s dove gray jackets were the most sublimely tailored of any team’s. And it was clear the women were representing the capital of fashion with the spring season’s all-important wide belts cinched around their jackets.”

SOUTH KOREA

South Korea’s sailor look is by Fila, designed to recall the 1948 Olympics, in which Korea celebrated its first Olympic participation after liberation from Japan. Note the argyle socks. On the right are athletic uniforms designed by Bean Pole.
